Hiatus over.

The blog hiatus is over. I'm back. School life is slowing down and hopefully I will have a bit of free time. I'm posting pictures (LOTS!) of a book I made for a lovely little lady. Adalyn's 2nd birthday party was today. It was a lot of fun! I made her this counting book as a gift.

The front. There is a little "I" dangling - the book is called "I see" but I couldn't get it in the picture. I apologize, I had to use flash, the lighting wasn't great when I took these.
The book only goes to 5. I figured that was a good start for a 2 year old.
I love this tree! I used embossing powder mixed in the paint to give the tree trunk some roughness. I flocked the leaves part.
These kids are from Basic Grey's line Mellow. They go perfectly with the paper!
I see 3 flowers to pick. These actually come off the page - they are attached with velcro.
The four apples come off the one side of the page and attach to the velcro on the other so Adalyn can put them in the baskets.
On this page the birds can be moved into their nest.
This last page has 5 buttons dangling on a string. She can push them up and down. It is also good for practicing colours too!
