I finally finished my "Create" banner! I started this darn thing like 7 weeks ago.... (oh, right before my summer classes started, haha). Crystal made one, and that inspired me to make my own. My scrapbook room is painted based on SEI's line Poppy. Yes, I actually took paper into Home Hardware and said "match this".
I didn't have much of the paper still saved, but June graciously gave me hers. Thank you thank you thank you Junie! And here is what I made with a little help from Bazzill, Maya Road, and October Afternoon.

The stick on's on my wall came from the Dollar store. Although they were $4! I love the little owls; the hearts on their wings are so cute!
The actual banner pieces are cut on my Cricut with a template I purchased on Two Peas. I think my favourite are the ones with the mini banners on them. The "A" with the camera and "this is true happiness" on it, comes in second.
Full shot. I rearranged this thing like 20 times. It's still not quite right, but hard to do when one foot is on a chair, another on your desk, and your hands are holding way too many things.

Cute! I can't wait to get mine back to hang in my room! Makes me jealous you have yours up! But everytime I see mine in the store I remember how much I like it! When we get together to scrap in the fall we should all do a XMAS banner using our FAV XMas lines! And see how different they all turn out.
