Weekend in GP

Well, Sunday morning Ryan and I set off for Grande Prairie. We were a little unsure, because the weather wasn't so hot but went for it anyhow. The ride there was totally fine, except we got stuck behind some big trucks. It was quite snowy, and at some points it was a little hard to see because of the wind blowing it around, but the roads were clear and dry. Ryan drove me around to some scrapbooking stores and patiently waited while I shopped. Around 4 we booked into our hotel. I seriously love this place, I would stay there every day of my life if I could. It makes me feel so fancy. I wish I had brought my camera. When you walked through the door, you were in the living room, yeah, the living room. Suede couch and flat screen tv. Then, you go through these doors to the bedroom. Kingsize bed, all in white. I love white beds. You then go into the bathroom, which had 2 sinks, a shower and a soaker tub. Seriously, best place on earth.
That night we went to the climbing gym at the college. It was fun. I hadn't ever done it before, and was nervous, but I did okay. I'm just not strong enough to maneuver around without a leg attached to the wall. It's just freaky.
We then went out for dinner and to a movie. We saw 21. It was really good, I quite enjoyed it. I did not enjoy the kids behind us who were kicking me in the head, but other then that it was great.
Monday we just did a little more shopping. Ryan bought me guitar hero which I officially stink at. I need lots of practice, that's for sure. I blame it on being left handed.
Ryan left today. But he'll be home in only 2 weeks and 3 days this time. Which I am fairly certain I can handle. I've done worse. So I should survive. Tonight I'm finishing up my Father's Day book. Depending on how long it takes me to type instructions I might break into my new Copic Markers... can't wait to play with those. Not that I really know how, but they look cool anyway. Wish me luck!
